number of cricketers such as Makhaya Ntini, Monde Zondeki, Dumisa
Makalima, Phaphama Fojela, Lucky Phangabantu, Kevin Bennet, Darryl
Brown, Nolubabalo Ndzundzu, Zintle Papu, Vuyolwethu Bonya, Khuselwa
Soka to mention but a few.
This could be attributed to the fact that cricket in this region was
played since early 1930’s. This has created a conducive environment
for our development programmes to thrive.
