CSA announces U19 stars

Cricket South Africa (CSA) today announced a 15-member South Africa U19 squad ahead of a packed local and international schedule for U19 cricket. The squad, announced at the awards dinner on the final day of the Coca-Cola Khaya Majola U19 cricket week in Benoni, will play in a Triangular series between India U19 and Sri Lanka U19 starting next week, before heading to the ICC U19 cricket World Cup in New Zealand in January.
“The process of identifying these youngsters started almost 18 months ago, with CSA’s U19 programme which includes the Cubs Week, Regional and National Talent camps, the Coke week and the U19 Series. I am very excited with the squad that we have selected and I am confident that they will do the country proud,” said U19 Convenor of Selectors, Shafiek Abrahams.
